Steve graduated from Rutgers University in 1978 and the University of San Diego School of Law in 1984. Early in his career Steve was a partner in a law firm that specialized in insurance defense (retained by insurance companies). He learned the tactics used by insurance companies to defeat or reduce accident victims’ claims. Today, he uses this knowledge against those companies to maximize recovery for his clients.

Steve is the lead trial attorney for Steinberg & Spencer. He has extensive trial experience in cases involving products liability, premises liability and vehicle accidents. His experience and reputation for aggressive representation allow him to reach settlements and attain verdicts that are both fair and beneficial to his clients.
