An Anaheim car accident involving a fiery crash leaves three people dead and two others injured. The incident took place at approximately 8:30 PM on Tuesday evening, March 16, 2010, on the 91 Freeway.
According to reports, the accident occurred on the eastbound 91 freeway just east of Coal Canyon when a 1988 Mazda 626 made a sudden left turn and swerved across several lanes of traffic. That is when the Mazda smashed into a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado and exploded into flames.
There were three occupants in the Mazda at the time of the crash. All three victims were pronounced dead from injuries sustained in the accident.
The two occupants of the Chevy, including the driver, were injured in the wreck. Fortunately, their injuries were considered minor.
Police have yet to determine the cause of the accident and why the driver of the Mazda made the sudden left turn.
The fatal Anaheim auto accident is still under investigation my local authorities. Officials have not released the identities of those involved in the fiery crash.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to all of those who have been affected by this terrible accident that claimed the life of three people.
