A Simi Valley motorcycle accident involving a parked car and an off-road motorcycle leaves a man in critical condition after his bike crashes into the parked vehicle. The incident took place at approximately 9:30 AM on Sunday morning, May 9, 2010, on Angela Street.
According to police, a motorcyclist riding an off-road motorcycle struck a parked car in the 2500 block of Angela Street on Sunday morning. The motorcyclist has been identified as Bill Williams, 35, of Simi Valley.
When rescue crews arrived on the scene, they discovered Williams lying partially under the parked car. He was transported to Simi Valley Hospital and treated for injuries sustained in the accident. Reports indicate that he suffered injuries to his head, leg and arm. Williams was listed in critical condition.
According to a witness, Williams was doing a wheel-stand on his bike when he slammed into the parked vehicle. Police have indicated that Williams was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The Simi Valley motorcycle crash is still under investigation by local authorities. It is unclear if anyone else was involved in the incident.
