A San Fernando Valley car accident involving a single vehicle claims the lives of four victims after the driver loses control of the vehicle and hits a guardrail. The incident took place at approximately 12:05 AM on Thursday morning, May 6, 2010, along Roscoe Boulevard in the North Hills area.
According to Los Angeles Police Department officer Gregory Baek, the driver of a yellow 2007 Corvette was speeding when the driver lost control of the vehicle and slammed into a guardrail. The car then skidded approximately 200 feet, crossing a set of railroad tracks and finally coming to a stop upside down.
According to Lt. John Romero, two men and two women were found dead, one of them discovered outside the Corvette. Police report that body parts were found strewn along a half-mile stretch of Roscoe Boulevard. It was unclear whether that victim was a passenger in the car or a pedestrian.
The early morning fatal car accident is still under investigation by local authorities. Police have indicated that they do not believe that any other vehicles were involved in the crash.
