Posted on Jun 28, 2010

A Rosemead car accident involving a car and a tour bus leaves 10 people injured, three of them critically. The incident took place at approximately 10:00 AM on Thursday morning, June 17, 2010, along San Gabriel Boulevard.

According to County Fire Inspector Matt Levesque, a rear-end collision along San Gabriel Boulevard, just north of Garvey, forced one car into oncoming traffic and into the path of a tour bus. As a result, the car slammed into the bus head-on.

The accident reportedly left 10 people injured. The bus driver, a person in the car and another victim sustained critical injuries, as a result of the crash. The extent of their injuries was not made known. The seven other victims have been described as only suffering minor injuries.

Levesque indicated that the tour bus was carrying passengers to a casino when the incident occurred.

The Rosemead auto accident is still under investigation by local authorities. It was unclear as to what caused the first two cars to collide with one.

This is a terrible accident and we wish all the victims a speedy recovery.
