A Riverside California bicycle accident has left a Norco teen in critical condition, according to the Press Enterprise.
Tyler Rosen made a miraculous recovery after suffering severe injuries from a pedestrian accident that occurred on January 24 of this year, when a hit-and-run driver struck him while he was walking along a horse trail. He suffered brain damage, partial paralysis on his right side and memory loss, but pulled through and started re-learning his BMX bike skills, only to be struck again - this time while riding his bike.
The bicycle accident happened on Hammer Avenue, south of Citrus Street, on Saturday, June 30, and caused Tyler to require brain surgery. Authorities have not yet released his condition.
While it is rare for someone to experience being struck twice, especially in the same year, accidents happen more often than many people think.
