Pasadena Car Accident Involving Bus Leaves 3 Injured

A Pasadena car accident involving a bus leaves at least three people injured after the bus slams into a car, tree and then an apartment building. The incident took place at approximately 8:00 AM on Tuesday morning, November 16, 2010, near Cordova Street and Madison Avenue.

According to local officials, the driver of the bus lost control of the vehicle and crashed into another vehicle. The force of the impact then sent the bus into a tree, causing the large vehicle to sideswipe an apartment building.

There were at least three reported injuries, including the bus driver, a passenger in the bus and a female inside the car that was struck. Details concerning their injuries were not immediately made available. It was also unclear if any other victims sustained injuries in the crash.

Rescue crews shutdown Cordova Street to clear the accident scene, as well as give investigators a chance to begin their investigation.

The Pasadena bus accident remains under investigation by local authorities. It is unclear as to what caused the bus driver to lose control of the bus.
