North Hollywood Car Accident Leaves 4 Injured

A North Hollywood car accident involving a single vehicle leaves four people injured after the driver crashes his vehicle inside a fast-food restaurant. The incident took place at approximately 11:30 AM on Monday morning, along Cahuenga Boulevard.

According to local authorities, a speeding car slammed through the plate-glass window of Tom’s Burgers which is located at 5571 N. Cahuenga Boulevard in North Hollywood. The driver has been identified as Geoffrey Hathaway, 35, of North Hollywood.

The force of the impact caused two adults and a child to be thrown from their booth inside the restaurant. Rescue crews transported the three victims to a local hospital where they were treated for minor injuries sustained in the accident.

Reports indicate that Mr. Hathaway was seriously injured as a result of the crash. Police arrested him on suspicion of felony DUI. Police found a handgun and several aerosol cans inside his vehicle.

The North Hollywood car accident is still under investigation by local authorities. Investigators have yet to determine what caused Mr. Hathaway to lose control of his vehicle and crash into the fast-food restaurant.
