Mar Vista Car Accident Involves FlyAway Bus

A Mar Visa car accident involving a car and a FlyAway bus sends one victim to a local hospital after the two vehicles collide along the San Diego Freeway (405). The incident took place at approximately 6:00 AM near Palms Boulevard in the Los Angeles area.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), a collision between a car and a FlyAway bus took place in the southbound 405 lanes. Details concerning the cause of the wreck were not immediately known.
Rescue crews transported a person in the car to a nearby hospital where they were treated for injuries sustained in the accident. Information concerning their injury was also not made available.
Flyaway buses transport people from the San Fernando Valley to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). It was unclear as to how many people were on the bus or if any of the passengers were injured in the collision.
The accident forced emergency crews to shutdown the carpool lane to allow workers to clear the accident scene. The Mar Vista auto accident is still under investigation by local authorities.
Accidents involving large buses can be serious. This is a terrible incident and our thoughts go out to all of those who were involved in the two-vehicle wreck.
