Steinberg & Spencer’s commitment to providing justice to victims injured by the negligence of others began in 1980 when Peter Steinberg began his career in injury law. His practice was launched officially when he, as a solo practitioner with only two staff members, opened an injury law office in Santa Monica just a few years later. In the intervening 25-plus years between those beginnings and today, Steinberg & Spencer has grown in both size and reputation by fulfilling its founder’s mission of giving clients individual attention while keeping an intense focus on getting the best possible results on every case.

The firm still occupies the same Santa Monica office location but now boasts four attorneys. The firm became Steinberg & Spencer in 2004 when Steve Spencer, a personal injury litigator with over 20 years experience, became partners with Peter after successfully working together for several years. Steven Hilst joined the practice in 2003. Together these attorneys bring over 90 years of experience to the firm.

The support staff has grown as well, even while retaining one of the original employees. Steinberg & Spencer has a support staff of 12 comprised of paralegals, case managers and other well-trained and dedicated professionals.
