As you know, we all face the risk of being injured every time we get behind the wheel and take to the Los Angeles freeway system. A recent
Pinion Hills truck accident proves this point.
On Tuesday morning, March 23, 2010, an accident along the Antelope Highway (Route 138) left seven people injured after they were involved in a multi-vehicle crash. The incident took place at approximately 6:45 AM at 263rd Street East.
According to California Highway Patrol officer Krystal Carter, a big-rig truck was involved in the wreck and was found on fire. It was unclear how many vehicles were involved and what caused the accident.
Rescue crews transported one of the victims by helicopter to a nearby hospital and where the individual was listed in critical condition. The other six victims were reported as having minor injuries.
Our thoughts go out to all of those affected by this accident. We wish all the victims a speedy recovery.
