Alhambra Motorcycle Accident Has Deadly Outcome

An Alhambra motorcycle accident along the westbound San Bernardino Freeway (I-10) led to the death of a motorcyclist. The incident took place at approximately 6:30 AM on Tuesday morning, March 23, 2010, just east of the Garfield Avenue exit.

According to California Highway Patrol officer Krystal Carter, it was not immediately clear if any other vehicles played a roll in the accident. The unidentified motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained in the fatal accident.

Fortunately, there were no other injuries reported in the accident. The carpool and No. 1 lanes along I-10 were closed, as officials continued their investigation and while crews cleaned up the accident scene.
